Xiaomi's Redmi 1S will launch in India Again in December23

Hey everyone down in the dumps because you couldn't buy Xiaomi phones anymore - cheer up. The Delhi High Court has finally lifted the ban on Xiaomi devies with come caveats. The news comes straight from Xiaomi's Vice President of International and former Googler
,Xiaomi's Redmi 1S much-anticipated budget handset, the Redmi 1S, will go on sale on Flipkart on December 23. The 4G version of Xiaomi's phablet, the Redmi Note will also be launched soon, but there is no date yet.
Hugo Barra, on his Facebook page. Barra says that
“We are happy to announce that the Delhi High Court today issued a ruling in our favor, allowing us to resume sales in India subject to certain terms,” Barra's Facebook post said.
Last week, Xiaomi  Redmi 1S had been accused by Ericsson of infringing on eight of its patents that involved EGDE, AMR and 3G technologies. The Delhi High Court had passed an injuction, which barred Xiaomi from selling devices in India.
Xiaomi then filed an appeal, which claimed that it also sold phones running on Qualcomm chipsets, not just Ericsson. Since Qualcomm has liscensed Ericsson's patents, the High Court decided that Xiaomi Redmi 1S could sell these phones after all.​
