Italian supercar maker Lamborghini on Monday launched its sports car, the Huracan, at a sticker price of Rs. 3.43 crore.The car replaces the Gallardo, Lamborghini is the best seller this years with sales of over 15000 units of cars.
The Huracan has got 1,000 bookings within 2 months of in global launch, the company said this car will delivers in India begin in October, By said Pavan Shetty,CEO of Lamborghini India
The car is powered by a 5.2litre V10 engine that develops 610 hp of engine power, 560 Nm of torque, a top speed of over 327km per hour and accelerates from standstill to 100 kph in 3.2 seconds (and 200 kph in 9.9 seconds).
With the Huracan, Lamborghini expects to double its sales tally in India to 40 cars per year in 2014. It had sold 20 cars in 2013.
Huracan has big competition of sports car in India. The Ferrari 458, and the Audi R8 that is based on Lamborghini’s own Gallardo base of car market, are possible options. The Ferrari has a V8, 4.5-litre engine that is developed 605 bhp of engine power and 540 Nm of torque.
